story so far'
Grandfather made everything with 2 hammers a large forge and a pair of steel calipers, aided by grandma who's
speciality was the repair of chains in the days when trucks were driven by
such... Father a big man with hands like shovels, chief engineer in the Navy tells stories of 'sitting inside scraping main bearings for crank repairs' while at sea. And me 60's
apprentice went on to
study metrology and worked 25 years in the aerospace industry from development engineer to
chief... till one day it got to me!
Took my small son, 1958 MGA and moved south....
South west France..... here I have settled and in old brick barn that once housed 60 goats I set up my small engineering co.... We have made ever thing from piston measuring machines for race car companies to
potters wheels. Specializing in small batch work and one off's we pride ourselves on high standards and good techniques. Our passion for competition motorcycles goes back to 1973, riding, tuning and the development of new products to customers private and professional.
Since the introduction of the very successful (in its 3rd year) Classic Trials championship both here in France and Spain we have concentrated on a range of products 'Kit-Pro' to improve and enhance off road and race machines...
